Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This contract is governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. If the language versions differ, the French version prevails.
1. Seller and scope
These terms and conditions of sale apply to every reservation and every sale made on amazighoil.com between [RAISON SOCIALE], [FORME JURIDIQUE ET CAPITAL SOCIAL], [RCS + VILLE + N° SIREN], registered office: [ADRESSE DU SIÈGE SOCIAL, CODE POSTAL, VILLE, FRANCE], phone: [TÉLÉPHONE], email: contact@amazighoil.com (the “Seller”), and any individual acting for purposes outside their trade or profession (the “Customer”).
They apply to deliveries to the European Union countries served, as shown when ordering. By reserving, the Customer confirms having read and accepted them. The version in force on the date of the reservation applies.
2. Products
The Seller offers extra virgin olive oil of Moroccan origin in two ranges (“La Lumière de l'Olivier”, cold extraction; “Meule de Granit”, first cold pressing) and two sizes: a 750 ml bottle (unfiltered oil) and L’Écrin de l’Atlas, a 3-litre bag-in-box (filtered oil).
The main characteristics of each product (legal name, category, origin, quantity, storage conditions, nutrition declaration, importer) are shown on its product page. The tasting profile described there is an expected profile, confirmed by the official sensory analysis of the batch. Images are for illustration only until photographs of the finished product are published.
3. Reserving the 2026 harvest
The site currently offers reservations for the 2026 harvest. A reservation involves no payment. It guarantees the Customer the price shown on the day of the reservation and priority in the order reservations are received, within the limits of the quantities actually harvested.
A reservation does not bind the Customer: it can be cancelled at any time before payment, free of charge and without giving a reason, by simple email. If the harvest is not enough to fill every reservation, the Seller will inform the Customers concerned; since no money has been taken, no refund is needed.
The Customer receives an email confirming the reservation and its contents.
4. Conclusion of the sale and payment
When the goods are available at the French warehouse, the Seller sends the Customer a final summary (products, price, delivery charges, shipping date) and a secure payment link. The sale is concluded when the Customer confirms that payment, which constitutes acceptance of the summary and an obligation to pay.
Payment is processed by a secure payment provider ([PRESTATAIRE DE PAIEMENT]); the Seller never has access to card details. An order confirmation is emailed together with the invoice.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all applicable taxes, excluding delivery. Delivery charges are given before any payment and appear in the final summary. The guaranteed price is the one shown on the day of the reservation.
6. Delivery
Products are shipped from the Seller's warehouse in France by Colissimo or DHL. For the 2026 harvest, the first orders are expected to ship in December 2026 or January 2027, depending on the harvest date and transport from Morocco; the shipping date is confirmed in the final summary. The Customer receives a tracking number.
Because they ship from France, deliveries within the European Union incur no customs duty. If delivery is not made within the agreed time, the Customer may, after a reminder that goes unanswered, terminate the contract and be refunded.
The Customer should check the parcel on delivery and report any damage to the carrier and the Seller promptly. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer when they take physical possession of the products.
7. Right of withdrawal
The Customer has fourteen days from receiving the products to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. To do so, the Customer informs the Seller by a clear statement, by email or using the form below.
The Customer returns the products no later than fourteen days after notifying withdrawal, to the address provided by the Seller; the Customer pays the cost of return. The Seller refunds all payments received, including the original standard delivery charge, within fourteen days of being notified, using the same means of payment; the Seller may withhold the refund until the products are received or proof of return is supplied.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery (an opened bottle, or an L’Écrin de l’Atlas whose cap or tap has been used), which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons (Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU).
Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To: [RAISON SOCIALE], [ADRESSE DU SIÈGE SOCIAL, CODE POSTAL, VILLE, FRANCE], contact@amazighoil.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods:
— Ordered on / received on:
— Name of consumer:
— Address of consumer:
— Signature of consumer (only if this form is notified on paper):
— Date:
8. Legal guarantees
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery: during that period the Customer only has to show that the lack of conformity exists, not when it appeared. The guarantee entitles the Customer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without significant inconvenience.
The Customer may obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract and receive a full refund on returning the goods if the Seller refuses to repair or replace them or fails to do so within thirty days, if doing so causes significant inconvenience, if the lack of conformity persists despite an attempt to remedy it, or if it is serious enough to justify an immediate price reduction or termination. Termination is not available where the lack of conformity is minor.
These rights derive from Articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, which transpose Directive (EU) 2019/771, without prejudice to any more favourable rules of the Customer's country of residence. The Customer also benefits from the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code) for two years from discovery of the defect.
As a food product, the oil must be stored away from light and heat and consumed within the periods shown on the product page and the packaging; deterioration caused by failure to follow these conditions is not a lack of conformity.
9. Welcome code and loyalty programme
Welcome code. A Customer's first reservation earns a €5 discount code, issued once per person, valid for 18 months from issue and applied at payment. It cannot be combined with any other offer or exchanged for cash.
Loyalty. Each item shipped earns one credit, awarded on shipping, not on reservation. From ten credits, the Customer chooses a reward in their account: a 5% discount voucher on their next order, or a free 3 L Bag-in-Box — L’Écrin de l’Atlas with their next order. Ten credits are deducted for each reward. Vouchers are valid for 12 months, cannot be combined and cannot be exchanged for cash. If an order is withdrawn from or refunded, the related credits are removed.
10. Personal data
Personal data is processed as described in our privacy policy.
11. Complaints and mediation
Complaints can be sent to the Seller by email at contact@amazighoil.com or by post to [ADRESSE DU SIÈGE SOCIAL, CODE POSTAL, VILLE, FRANCE].
If a dispute is not resolved after a written complaint to the Seller, the Customer may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator: [NOM DU MÉDIATEUR DE LA CONSOMMATION], [ADRESSE POSTALE DU MÉDIATEUR], [SITE INTERNET DU MÉDIATEUR]. Customers living in another EU member state may also contact the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to any more protective mandatory provisions of the law of the Customer's country of habitual residence. If the language versions differ, the French version prevails. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes will be brought before the competent courts under the ordinary rules.
